What can MMCCA do for me?

Why should I be a member of the Mississippi Municipal Clerks and Collectors Association? This page is a resource guide of what the Mississippi Municipal Clerks and Collectors Association does to help our members!

The MMCCA has members ready to mentor and help all members! If you are a new clerk or know a new clerk who needs some guidance, please let us know through our mentorship committee as soon as possible. This committee will work hard to make sure that you are matched with someone who has the best ability to help you!

Reaching out to help

Do you know of a Clerk who has an illness or suffered a loss? Please contact the Trustee for your area so that he or she may send flowers from the association through the Sheila Heath Memorial Fund. This is funded by donations of our members. To donate to this fund send a check to the MMCCA Treasurer or click here:

The duty of sending the floral arrangements/plants shall fall upon the trustee of the area. An immediate member of the MMCCA family includes spouse or domestic partner, parents, step-parents, children, and step-children. Immediate family may be extended to include others where the degree of closeness of the relationship to the Clerk warrants consideration and when approved in advance by the MMCCA President. In the event of a serious or prolonged illness, hospitalization, or death of an active member of the MS Municipal Clerks and Tax Collectors Association or an immediate member of the MMCCA family, an appropriate floral arrangement/plant or charitable contribution may be sent by a trustee of the MMCCA on the Association's behalf. Want to find your trustee? Click HERE.

The simple act of sending flowers can mean so much to someone going through a life altering situation.
